re: Ann: Avoca Reaches 44.85% at Close of Off... I am uncertain of whether there is any requirement to allow a minimum time to pass before another bid, if that is in fact what AVO want. They may well be satisfied with "control" for the time being. The RMS offer is clearly going to be unsuccessful, but it may be a problem for AVO as they would likely end up with a blocking stake. Oddly enough DIO looks to me to now be a good bet for value increase as something has to give in this battle, and it is likely to result in a benefit for remaining DIO shareholders in my opinion. I ended up selling out of DIO, clearing my final stake for 79.5cents. I still hold quite a few AVO.
