Interesting move on corporate governance hiring a guy that is a non executive director of ASX as a co company secretary.

Its not the new Chairman that was forecast in previous announcements but it might be a positive development anyway - provided in my opinion they bring the Security Trading Policy up to date such that it isn't possible in future for Directors to trade during non trading (closed) periods without prior written clearance from someone else.

It's the change in the Security Trading Policy or not that will indicate a true desire to genuinely improve governance or not to me.

Rest of the announcement looks positive - but this bit caught my eye as governance has been the aspect of AVZ I've been most concerned about.
