Hey mate,
Just adding some rough calcs to yours. But instead I'm working backwards using the depth.
20,000m drill program. drill depth range so far has been between 320-380m but peg appears to be going deeper.
a) At 300m avg depth its 66 cores
b) At 400m avg depth its 50 cores
I'll let people make their own interpretations to average expected core depths.
March to Mid March
3 drills splitting equal load
12 days a hole
approximately 3.8 cores
Mid March - End of March
4 drills splitting equal load
12 days a hole
approximately 5.1 cores
April-Mid April
4 drills splitting equal load
12 days a hole
approximately 5 cores
Mid April- End of April
5 drills splitting equal load
12 days of a hole
approximately 6.3 cores
May
5 drills splitting equal load
12 days of a hole
approximately 13 cores
June
5 drills splitting equal load
12 days of a hole
approximately 13 cores
End Q2 outcome.
46.3 new cores. (Minus current cores)
Assumptions:
Drill rig 4 operating by mid March.
Drill rig 5 on site in May (2 month mobilization)
Core depths are similar to previous results
Timeframe for full core includes relocation to new pad site (if req). Expect that rigs wont need to re-locate for every hole.
No reason why they couldn't expedite drilling and mobilise a 6th rig if timelines are becoming are concern. If anything the turn-around on cores should increase as whether improves, and processes become more streamlined.
I've got fairly extensive background in drilling as a current practicing engineer in mining.
