There had been take over offers on the table but ferguson has never made this public to the shareholders as he claimed they were low ball offers hence they were rejected by the management! Why did he hold back in not letting the shareholders know??? Well, I think this is the conspiracy theory IMO, I am guessing the offer they received was between 30c and 35c, Klaus wanted to accept it but Ferguson and co rejected it hence it is the reason why Klaus wanted out and sold. Klaus obviously knew that a high capex would be required and would be hard to raise the funds and better off to sell it off the resource but greedy ferguson and co thought otherwise and now look where we are with ferguson’s doing!
Remember this is just my opinion and a conspiracy, we will never know the truth with this BOD, Ferguson is to blame for this mess up and now I would be surprised if there is a hostile takeover on the cheap. Ferguson I hope you are proud of yourself for screwing the shareholders and feeding us BS all along!
