Im sure CATH is just as frustrated as everyone else with the lack of progress. They no doubt saw the removal of Nigel - whom Zijin and MMGA etc cite as a roadblock - as a means to progress the Project towards development.
This is understandable given their need for offtakes. Now that this plot didn't work (at least for now) there is no real reason they wouldnt go back to supporting the board.
They just want the ore being dug out of the ground and will likely back whoever can get this moving, rather than remaining mired in complex legal actions for years going forward.
I dont blame CATH for their part in the gambit, and though i don't really believe anymore that we'll go mining, i would remain content to work with them should we be able to position ourselves a way out of this mess.
