The investment decision was based on what I believed were good fundamentals, yes there are risks, but ultimately I came to the conclusion that AVZ long term would bring a much greater return than MLC. Speculative stocks are not for everyone and yes it was dreadful timing to invest 12 months ago, but in 2-3 years from now the AVZ story might look quite different.
The drilling results are insane really so as long as our transport options are good all that remains is a financial partner and I strongly feel we will find one. I've always felt that potential financial partners want the project advanced further before they formally commit and I think this is why 2019 is going to be such a huge year for the company.
My accountant auditing my SMSF almost had kittens when he saw my losses, but at the end of the day we all have a different appetite for risk and I still feel AVZ will be a winner.
