There is proof CATL through intermediaries have visited Manono, but more importantly that CATL executives have invested in Manono projects........... Have set up shells...etcetera

With regards Clive Huang, a CATL business director and a photo of him smiling with African children in a village, we don’t have absolute proof of CATL investing in other African projects outside of Manono though it’s rumoured to have interests in cobalt and copper. When Langford tweeted the photo he would have seen others as well. So we have ‘probative’ proof. Besides that CATL set up ‘Societe de Mines d’Or Resources SARLU’ as a shell with interests in Manono.

The trick for us all here, is to see who is in the MINOR shell in the JV MINOCOM. Ruiyou (HuaYou and CATL) and by extension Ruihua having an extension into Ruiyou are involved in MINOR. However HuaYou and CATL seemed to have gone their own way since early 2018.

Acronym MINOR fits well with, Societe de Mines d’Or Resources SARLU

This ignores Bin Guo a SRK consultant who may have been involved in the SRK report on Manono............. gee you’d think they’d have visited through and intermediary to do that if they did. In any case we know from Sinotech they went to Manono at the behest of the MINOCOM shell back early 2018. I guess Airguide cannot control how the Chinese get on with each other but some here would expect them to bang heads together to make it work
