Not many saw the ICSID initial hearing not going AVZ's way. The big question is "the willingness of the government to abide by its international obligations". So far, they haven't budged on complying with ICC rulings or fines. Will this change with ICSID? Fingers crossed, but don't pop the champagne just yet for those $3 plus offers, we have to wait and see how the DRC government reacts to these rulings.
