I know I'll get slapped for commenting, but here goes... Dathomir has been involved with the project since around the time AVZ picked up its stake. Dathomir are on the ground in the DRC and are extremely knowledgeable about the project. There are two possibilities in my mind - they were desperate for cash or they know something that has led them to the conclusion that they want out even at a discount. If they had faith in the project being significantly more valuable in three years time, why would they accept a delayed payment? Clearly an equity position in AVZ in return for the stake was not an option. But it is the DRC and nothing is as it seems on face value. Time will tell. DYOR
