Saudis have a stack of money but no local battery industry. Is it possible they'll try and usurp the CATH position by offering to pay the break fee (peanuts) and support more of the value chain being developed in Africa?
CATH brings a lot of experience and will still be pushing for more processing in site than AVZ initially planned, but they want to capture/control most of the value chain in China. Just seems interesting to me that there is no Chinese involvement in the Council given how involved they are with both batteries and mining in DRC
