From Klaus' response, it looks like the investor from North American is buying into AVZ for a return (ROI) instead of a strategic purpose. This means they are not from any of the Li battery producer, Li producer, Li miner, Car companies groups.

It is less then ideal because this type of instituional investors are more prone to sell off shares, which creates volatility in SP, instead of holding onto the shares like a strategic investor such as Huayou. This said, I would prefer this raising instead of retail offering as retail traders will have no hesitation in selling off the shares straight away and only hang on to the options which will drive the SP below 25c.
