For anyone interested in calculating how long it might take to drill out 40,000m - in granite pegmatites you're looking at approx 1m/hour minimum ROP. Perhaps up to 5m/hour if the going is easy.

We don't know if the rigs are running around the clock, or just 12 hour days, but either way there will be downtime during a shift for changing drill bits, removing cores, adding rods, collaring the borehole etc.

Either way you calculate it, completing a drill program of 40,000m is at least a few months away, and could easily take the rest of 2018.

The positive part of that is there will be lots of potentially constant good news for several months to keep the SP tracking upwards.
