I asked a question about EIS funding at an AMEC meeting.

Very important recognition of projects.

While I forget the exact number it is a high one. For every $ of EIS money given out the government has got back around $30.

The majority of targets are not going to be huge successes. However, those that are more than compensate for the "failures" and "technical successes".

The data is fed almost directly into WAMEX/Geoview rather than being held in 'escrow' like most company reports (5 years?).

It encourages explorers to think outside the box and to explore deeper or under cover.

Seems to be a win win.
