LOM strip ratio is 3:1 , i.e 4 tonnes of earth movement for every one tonne of spod ore. Hence 8Mt contract for 2Mt plant feed.
2 year contract says to me we are aiming to have stage 2 commissioned by mid 2020 and be pumping out 5m tonnes. If MACA have performed well in their first two years they likely get the extension plus the expansion to 20Mt/a of material movement (that's a lot of trucks) assuming they can handle the capacity.
If their performance is not up to scratch I suspect we just get someone new in to take over the contracts from the time Stage 2 comes online.
