I have been a huge fan of AWE in the past but not so convinced at the moment, particularly since oil has slid to current levels from the $US100 barrel days.
Hopefully it can bounce back with the WA gas project and when oil can recover a lot further. I understand why they sold Sugarloaf but it was a great asset and maybe they should have looked at other options than to sell it.
Currently it is my least favoured stock that I hold but it owes me to much to lose faith altogether
I am also a long term holder and I believe in cycles so AWE will be OK in the long term
