IMO the rationale for this adventure was for SXY to avoid being 'the hunted' in the first place i.e. increasing the MC to make a TO out of reach of all but the most cashed-up suitors.
So this juvenile episode, in a futile attempt to protect the board/management from losing their lucrative positions most probably, has, IMO, cost us shareholders a heap of money ... and the company a heap of credibility.
