Fixed vs. Tiered Rates:
Royalty rates can be fixed for the duration of the license agreement or tiered, with rates adjusted based on sales volume or market conditions.

Milestone Payments:
In addition to royalties, the IP owner may negotiate for lump sum payments at specific milestones, such as signing the agreement, manufacturing a prototype, or achieving certain sales targets.

25% Rule:
The 25% rule is a technique for determining royalties, which stipulates that a party selling a product or service based on another party's intellectual property must pay that party a royalty of 25% of the gross profit made from the sale, before taxes.

This last one would work well for us if Hylid sells the packaged product.
