The current Trumpian hysteria about reshoring manufacturing to the USA is far too late. Other countries community benefitting investment, industrial, educational and modern manufacturing strategies have left the USA in the rear mirror.
Australia should harness Super Fund wealth and develop its materials along similar lines in conjunction with regional partners.
The rather one sided affair with the USA is over and the Canberra defence obsessives need to take a real world view.
