Interesting read in the AFR today regarding Clive Palmers stated intention to re-open the Qld Nickel Refinery at Townsville. No doubt feasible once again on the back of rising nickel prices.

Relevant to Axiom is the comment that ‘new supplier agreements would also need to be negotiated’.

No doubt DSO feedstock from Axiom’s Isabel deposits would be far cheaper to ship to Townsville than from WA (or other locations) where it would most likely require a combination of rail and shipping at a significantly higher cost. Watch this space !!!
