Solomon Islands litigation proceedings update A directions hearing was held on 23 January 2015 in the Solomon Islands Court of Appeal in relation to the Isabel nickel deposit civil appeal case. All parties appeared before the Chief Justice to discuss key matters including the dates for the appeal hearing. The Chief Justice was not in a position to set hearing dates for the appeal and adjourned the matter to 6 February 2015. It is expected that formal dates for the appeal hearing will be set at this time.
