Why would acrux want to fund the research as they no longer have sole marketing rights, it makes perfect sence to pull out, I would say this looks like its developing into a big class action for damages where axron will claim that they are not able to fullful their obligations with regards to the trials because they lost sole marketing rights, maybe the trials and the marketing rights were packaged together as part of the original agreement? I guess its a long shot but if so then maybe they are positioning them selves to sue somebody.
