It appears the tax slugs on opposing networks to NBN can passed onto consumers.
This makes the city fund regional internet.
Levels the playing field for NBN or subsidises it.
Only thing it does do is allow TPG to pass on this tax if it chooses to do so similar to TLS.
TPG will either absorb all or part of this. May just send letter out advising consumer of govt tax charge blah blah $5 more a month.
