I don't see it as an issue, if the market didn't like it we would have been smashed today. I suspect they put an offer on the table that was accepted, so they went ahead and did the deal, knowing the ACCC would take forever to approve something that will alternately be sactioned. They may have also wanted to push it through to avoid a counter bid from an opportunists company.
