Either the current 19% QAN shareholding in AQZ is hampering competition or it isn’t. After a year of reviewing what is actually happening in practice, you would think the ACCC could make a decision.
Quite a different issue that QAN increasing its stake to a majority position, which presumably would require ACCC approval. I understand that QAN has undertaken not to increase their stake while the Enquiry is on, so does the current ACCC stance suggest QAN isn’t prepared to agree not to increase their stake if the ACCC ends its enquiry?
