Ok so realistically we all know Chemist Warehouse is effectively a distributor of vitamens, beauty products, nappies, skin care, sun screen, various rub in oils, blah blah basically everything a supermarket can sell. It is not a "Pharmacy" per say. It is by name but that is pretty much it. . I mean this is a nonsense their is pharmacist in a CWH "store" they are pretty much just there to make it all look legit. A Chemist Wharehouse store coudl exist and probably still make a profit without the pharmacist beign there. Ok so I get why pharmacists want to be a franchisee of a CHW store. They get upside to all the psuedoscinence sales right? Withoout any of the hassle. CWH just sets up th stor and basically runs it for them. So give CWH main business is a distributor of basic toilettery goods.. which supermarkets are the main player (and Metcash, WOW, WES, Coles all do anyway , why on Earth will the ACCC have a problem with this merger? Just MO!
