Curiouser and curiouser …

1. Saw I had a recalled message from someone who on research seems to be EA to CEO. (6.21 pm).

2. Email received immediately after (6.22 pm) from shareholder enquiry address with the following advice:

3. So CEO’s EA obviously dealt with this email and adjusted their email address to the generic form. Perhaps nothing untoward - staff in EA roles in this size company would often have amongst their responsibilities helping out with general enquiries as time permits. However receiving it as late as 6.22 pm is a bit strange, since it wasn’t urgent, so there’s the possibility that someone on the general enquiries desk has referred it for particular advice.

4. What’s also unusual is that in terms of client/shareholder service I would have expected a response to include the advice that Imugene themselves would follow up with the conference organisers to determine the problem (who wouldn’t want as much info about their work to be as widely available as possible?) And if the results of their investigations with the organisers warranted a change to their 20th December advice to the public regarding arrangements for posting of the abstract, you’d think that they would publicly adjust this advice, as opposed to dealing with each of us individually (which perhaps you’d only continue doing to draw as little attention to the change as possible?).

In short, @morgenlofting, you have refired my curiosity.
