To those people who are visiting the RAC thread. This is what privately (Davisite, aka Dr Tillet, CEO of RAC) said about the subject this morning. "Can we please stop the back and forth about other companies in this thread? As I have said many times before the success of any Australian biotech is a success for all Australian biotechs (unfortunately the opposite is true too). Biotech investment is not a football game. The opponent is cancer, not other companies.
As a more general comment, when investing in a biotech you need to look at more than just the science and clinic. Plenty of companies that have proven successful in the clinic have proven terrible investments because of poor or corrupt management, excessive share dilution, changes in clinical practice that make the new treatment irrelevant, or the treatment not being able to gain traction into a very crowded or small marketplace." I totally agree with his comments and while I am not an IMU holder (but have heavily invested in RAC), congrats for the results and happy that the treatment has saved some lives. It is fantastic news for the people whose lives were saved and for their families, relatives and friends. I wish all the best to IMU with their goals and for the holders to see a good ROI. I also highly respect Mason14 and think he has a fantastic knowledge and very grateful for his contribution on the RAC thread.
