In July of this year the FDA provided clear direction to Precision as to what was required to attain registrational trials to market re Azer Cell Allogeneic IP.
As a result, Precision seeked a partner to fund these trials however IMU came along and offered to take the IP over and fund it all themselves with Precision to get the one off payment (I think 12m) then ongoing structured milestone royalties should the $ begin to come in.
Precision where happy to let IMU do all the work(trials & funding) and for IMU to take over the processing facility in the USA etc.
My feeling is that IMU management is highly regarded by the FDA.
IMU have wasted no time and are full steam ahead with registrational trials to market with the potential to be the 1st ever to provide Allogeneic Car T treatments for blood type cancers.
