Yeah nah it's probably just an admin error who ever was supposed to get the announcement to print. We've done that a few times. Or it could be because initially it wasn't worth a mention to the market but then decided to mention it last minute. You'd have to contact Investor Relations to get that advice but ultimately for me it's a waste of effort as it's the wrong question. The takeaway from this is the Board would like the market to know they are speaking with strategic partners, investors, fund managers and offtakers. Ask "why?". It's SSDD for many of us, so it's easily forgotten as important announcement. Personally I'm not a fan of AZL's dream of US listing until the Board first provide reasonable evidence of shareholder value and through the ASX market. So fine to plant seeds... but for me depends if it adds shareholder value as opposed to unnecessary dilution, I will judge harshly on the results. People talk and ask each other what they think of so and so, let's see what happens. It's who you know.
