Surely we need a comprehensive resource update before a scoping study could be worked on. Wouldn't that be the only way to know what it is that is mineable? With the new roll-over discovery on Babel, I'd expect it needs to be fully defined before a scoping study would start, because only then can they work out the dollar returns. If anything, I'd expect the scoping study to be put back a bit while they do more drilling to determine the resource.
I would have thought that a roll over MS discovery, along potentially 2km, was important and valuable, yet seems totally under-rated by the market, especially as it's shallow!! At 20-50m wide and deep over 2km distance, it could add substantially to the overall project, especially the start up years, which would have a massive effect on NPV.
I'd also really like to hear how some of the work on the mets is going, even the old stuff from BHP/WMC days.
