The sub asset class that BTI invests in has a high(er) beta than the broader market and on that basis I feel their performance hurdle rate should be higher than the current 8%.I am all for performance fees but feel they need to consider this to better align. I am aware of their holdings in the stock and don't intend selling as I like the specific sector exposure that BTI provides.
