I'm aware of the issues you raised and that SYR does need Balama up and running, my point is that protestors don't hang around in Africa unless there is payment to those on the ground and motive by those really in control. I have no idea who that is but my guess from living here for years would be local government wanting bribes rather than an external country. Now that Balama is open, SYR better deliver quickly or there'll be a capital raise on the horizon.
