Some of you may have watched a few too many movies...
If things "go loud" (sheesh...) at the minesite, it's already gone too far.
I'd be fascinated to know who and what the security arrangements, risk assessments, and contingency plans are. But I'll hazard an educated guess that if things really do go to clag, whoever's running security is not equipped for much more than a protected evacuation and some basic vital asset protection until much larger and better equipped government forces take over; nor would their risk management or operational mandate allow for much more, I'm guessing. But then private contractors may have a bit more freedom of movement, all the kit and more, and looser SOPs and Actions On than I ever had?
