If you do and you read closely, you will see exactly what the end-goal is here and how they intend to spend their money organically and through the RCF.
People discussing the gold price + whether the put option is a pro/con relative to potential gold price moves up/down have no idea as one view directly contradicts another soon as price moves in either direction.
$A gold goes down: "wow they are astute, thank goodness for the insurance policy" $A gold goes up: "wow that $1m+ p.m, what a waste!"
You don't know if the price is going up or down no matter how hard you try.
