Hi All,
One of my comments in my last post may have been rather cryptic for some people. I referred to "i.e. could the mudlog be showing an increase in backgound gas with high enough C fractions that indicate oil micro seepage through the Soloo Deep prospects top seal?"
What I'm referring to here is the Alkane fractions that might be present C5 & above i.e. indicating oil rather than just background Methane / Ethane gas (see below).
