I haven't studied it too much yet.
Some more info from CUE/WPL wouldn't hurt.
Following link has some expltn history for the area including Banambu-1 drilled by WPL in 1998.

Seems WPL know the area pretty well and now see justification to go for a deeper play than the previous wells.
