    I cant agree with this.

    If you sell out and constantly monitor a stock for quite minimal effort in times like these where sentiment is atrocious you can often sell and buy back in a few days later for a significant discount. Sometimes doesn't happen but from my experience more often than not it does.

    I'd prefer to lose a few $$ of gains buying on an uptrend than taking the risk and buying while everyone is shitting themselves.
