The BOD and GOT will have been aware since late May 2022 that Saltend UK, was being designed to handle a variety of RE feedstocks.

The new Executive Chairman of PEK was appointed six weeks later.

On accepting he would have known that that optionality will be available for PEK's use.

He will now have an opportunity to "unlock shareholder value" by supporting the core objectives of PEK.

That is, finding a resource and developing it in the most efficient way.

Nothing more, nothing less, and in a time-frame relevant to shareholders.

Over the past few years I have been appalled by attempts to hijack PEK for purposes that bring no benefit to those with an actual direct interest in PEK (SH and Tanzanians).

Appen saw the writing on the wall and decamped. I hope fellow travellers will soon follow.

PEK has a world-class resource, but the current MC is ridiculous. A simpler business model will help rectify that.

BTW: @sjl, I doubt that your message was delayed. IMO you were given a haircut. That exchange does not make order flow visible.
