pXRF is a hand held that needs an experienced handler to get any indication.
It is always an indication and relies on lab assay.
The surface rock is not indicative of grade below as it is oxidised and more often higher grade.
What we do know is that the IP is picking up an anomaly at 500m deep near to hole 10.
It is believed that it is closer to surface east of that hole.
Remember it was a grader that was doing road maintenance that cut that table drain.
It revealed what had not been seen before.
That green coloured rock was hidden just beneath the surface and spotted by an observant passer by.
Some analysis has determined that it is a leak from the primary source.
It is also the target area of the next drill campaign.
Wet season weather will not have the impact here because we do not have to venture far from the stable road and we are on sand.
This does not suggest we will be lucky there and hit the goods but it will at least give us more understanding of what we are dealing with and allow further planning.
If we get really lucky, the passage of this leak may be short and we hit the primary source.
We do know that the IP target is not so deep for IOCG and we know from hole 4 on ICG land has what we want to see below-
Chalcopyrite and Bornite were identified in the core and mineralisation observed from 89.5m and continue for 326.8m
Now you can see why I am holding both.
If this has the goods that all this is suggesting and it is at the depth also suggested, Imagine how the economics will compare to places like the Gawler Craton where it is much much deeper.
