I’m disappointed in Rick and his frankly misleading statements leading up to the FS, but I think holding onto Sandstone might pay someday. The gold price is steadily climbing and AME will eventually get sick of kicking around the dirt and need a mill. It’s costing MDI nothing to keep it on the books in the meantime.
Spin-out or not, there will need to be a capital raise to support exploration at Barkly at some point.
Nobody know what might happen to the POG over the next few years, but I think we holders will loathe Rick even more if he sells Sandstone to fund a couple of quarters of drilling at Barkly.
