I just did some research. Fortescue were in the Orange region looking for copper in 2015. I am guessing it is copper they are looking to identify further west in known copper fields......
They are close to ALK, MAG and AGC ground. Joint ventures in the air possibly? Pure guessing on my behalf, but where there is smoke, there is fire...or copper.
