Would have thought with BSM having such a good story (near production & future gold opportunities) that the Company could possibly even have done this capital raising at par. Looks like it was the simplest and easy way of grabbing some cash to fast track the gold feasibility study and have some contingency funds for the start up.
Phoenix Copper a very small producer/explorer in SA was able to place $2m worth of shares in NZ at a premium and this was a real boost to their share price. Depends on how well the story is told to investors I guess. Bass is in a much better position than Phoenix.
No real criticism though because I still like the way things are moving and I have to look at the big picture.
