Bit suprised with this annoucement:
- MOU is non-binding so it carries little weight at all
- "criteria for scaled up supply and evaluation of joint anode materials and blends" - Is talga not looking to scale up its own supply for its contracts? Why is talga looking at another anode company for supply of anode material?
- the "ATC will consider volumes, pricing, intellectual property and know-how to align the parties commercial goals." - so is Talga now sharing all its intellectual property with another company that isen't even in a binding MOU??? Again what are Talga gettinng out of this agreement. I was always of the impression Talga could supply their own material and produce their own anodes
- And it was my understanding Talga dident need synthetic graphite to make its anodes but now it does? Maybe the tests were underwhelming and they have to put synthetic in.
Really odd annoucement that TLG is sharing IP for Synthetic graphite
