I don't think sellers have fully considered the consequences of selling today. The fact that management felt the need to write up this report while they're busy with the ore and including the words 'significant' and 'material' should signal that the NPV has increased drastically behind the scenes.
This isn't a software startup where a reduction in price per unit sold is good but not going to greatly affect the balance sheet. it's a capital intensive margin critical industry where a 10-20% increase in operating margins can increase profit by hundreds of percent. The fact that this isn't even for the ore but the high purity side should tell you that the additional NPV added from the reduction in costs alone is probably worth more than 2x today's market cap. Not to mention that they include the fact that we will see less environmental waste which does add ESG supply chain value.
The way I see it is that we're one of the only battery stocks that are making money today.
We will be selling a material that is increasing in value every month.
We just read a report that told us the margins in this already high margin area got far larger.
We are selling a product that others can't compete with. High quality massive amounts of manganese, tier 1 mining jurisdiction in a country that isn't openly hostile towards its trading partners, situated near every Asian market, zero debt and the only MD in Australia who I trust with my investment.
