Here some updates and some thought about our competitors:
- Li-Cycle has been ringing the closing bell at the NYSE at 4:00 p.m. ET on August 11, 2021. Their sp didn't do much on the first day of trading.
Former SPAC (PDAC) in new symbol LICY in USA.
"The business combination implies a pre-money equity valuation for Li-Cycle of $975 million and, when combined with the transaction proceeds, represents a combined company pro forma equity value of $1.55 billion."

- Now, the former Tesla co-founder and CTO, now Redwood Materials CEO JB Straubel, has the money to accelerate those plans.
"Redwood Materials said Wednesday (July28,2021) it raised $700 million from high-profile institutional investors and venture firms, providing the capital needed to expand its existing operations well beyond its Carson City, Nevada, home base to locations throughout North America and even into Europe."

Thereafter I found an good article on Li-Cycle's website, explaining the technology and some other thoughts, that maybe helpful for us too:
https://li-cycle.com/news/startups-researchers-race-in-the-wild-west-of-ev-battery-recycling-2/
These thoughts are helpful inho:
> "Cracking the code on battery recycling is one of the keys to shoring up the battery supply chain needed to make the United States a major player in the next-gen autos, according to a recent report from the Department of Energy. And in the long term, there’s money to be made for early adopters who can pioneer models that are financially viable.
> Most lithium-ion batteries used in electric vehicles today will last between 11 and 13 years. But eventually they’ll be put out to pasture, creating millions of tons of battery waste per year, by some estimates.
> Batteries aren’t currently built to be recycled, so taking them apart and shipping them to a facility costs money — and a lot of it, because whole lithium-ion batteries are both heavy and considered hazardous, so they are subject to higher shipping fees.
> The first generations of electric vehicles are just beginning to die, said Spangenberger of ReCell, meaning the tsunami of batteries will only get larger from here.
> He said. “There’s all these new startups that want to get involved in this. The more people the merrier. The sandbox is big, so we can all play in it. But there’s areas for improvements over what’s currently here.”
> And Stellantis NV has said it intends to recycle and reuse batteries for energy storage with a partner it has not yet announced."
Their SP roughly trippled from low in march 2020.
So compare our MC to those other competitors and remember, we don't have just one foothold, we have several moore !
These are just only a few snippets of a german shareholder, don't know, if I get some day the chance to visit our facility in Hilchenbach.
