Firstly, NMT will NOT be the only LiB recycler in western world. There are other companies such as Li-Cycle https://li-cycle.com/ are developing LiB recycling plants.. Do not make claims when you do not have all the information. Secondly, NMT and Li-Cycle plants are 20,000tpa throughput which is quite small compared to the existing recyclers in China.

In China there are about 12-14 large-scale LiB recycling companies.. throughput ranges from 40,000tpa up to 100,000tpa.. .. They also have domestic advantage of collecting waste batteries as there are many old EV's in China..

The Scrap EV-Lib recycling market is an entire industry in China.. Please do more research before commenting.. ..
