ReSource is Australia’s first and only alkaline and zinc carbon battery recycling company. Our Melbourne processing facility is designed to process these single use batteries which more than 80% of household batteries sold today.

Our process offers a safe and cost effective alternative to batteries being dumped in landfill whilst also avoiding environmentally harmful smelting overseas.

ReSource is expanding it’s services in 2020 to include not only processing of single use batteries but also the ability to sort batteries using both mechanical and optical sorting equipment.

In addition, our existing processing plant is being upgraded to increase the capacity as well as improve upon the purity of the outputs for our end customers.

These new installations will ensure ReSource remains the most advance battery handling and processing company in the nation. Our processing capacity means we can process at least 20% of the nations single use batteries should collections reach that level.
