"Employ Australians". How many staff has Lithium Australia let go of in the past 6 months?
So employing people to hand sort batteries.....real high paying job right there. I wonder how much this costs the company?
I wonder how many people are employed by other companies around Australia that have mixed-battery recycling facilities? Some would be higher paid given the facilities are more advanced. I mean, paying someone to hand-sort batteries, vs paying someone to operate and maintain a high tech piece of Automation equipment? I think I know which job will be higher paying.
But again, this forum doesn't like to acknowledge that other companies that are recycling batteries in Australia are doing just that, recyling. Hopefully one day, one of those recyclers will come up with a process that does not involved the burning of the batteries as part of their process
