One example of their investing success is their recent sale from PLS. CATL, which bought the bulk of its stake via a strategic placement at 30¢ a share in October 2019. CATL sold its 146 million shares for $4.10 a share and took $856 million off the table in the space of a few days. CATL still with LPM and few others and patiently waiting regardless of anything.
