They only load one ship at a time. The only time they load simultaneously is when they are finishing one ship and are "trimming". To load two ships at a time they would require two crews. They don't believe they need this to hit their target (3.5 mill). However, it it worth noting that they can double crew in case they need to - it will just cost more. This has always given me confidence that the year end target will get met.
With regards to demurrage. I believe that MMI allow 2 days per ship. So more than that may be a charge to the company, but that would be subject to whatever agreement that they have struck and what time that ship has available.
